How to set a custom ringtone on Android

Learn how to add a custom ringtone for your calls or notifications from an audio file on you Android phone

  1. Download the file you want to use as a ringtone. Check out Sober Ringtones if you're looking for a minimal and humble ringtone for your calls and notifications.
  2. Open Settings.
  3. Tap Sounds & vibration.

  4. Tap Phone ringtone.

  5. Tap My Sounds.

  6. Tap on the plus button to add a ringtone.

  7. Choose an audio file from your phone's internal storage.
  8. Tap on your newly added custom ringtone and hit Save.

  9. Done! Go back to Sober Ringtones.
